So basically, here, guitar hardcases are a "necessary evil" that comes in handy once every five years in one's life. In that kind of situation, one quickly realises that bulky and heavy guitar cases that take the space of half a room and aren't foldable are a hindrance (bus drivers sometimes even forbid you to get on the bus with a big guitar case during rush hour, while they say nothing if you carry your guitar in a smaller gigbag). I live in a big city where 2/3 of people can't afford cars, live in minute apartments and don't go on trips with their guitars (they only take them to their guitar lessons or to friends' once a week by bus.
